Chad Sexington
Really like the look of this. Great cast and instead of being set in the 40's like the original it's been moved to 1964 with Sam Riley playing a psychotic Mod. It's out Feb 4th. http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/video/2010/nov/19/brighton-rock-trailer
Malinga the Swinga
Will really struggle to be better than the original. It's a classic.
Tommy Wiseau
Think it looks ace - Andrea Riseborough is an excellent actress as well. Is there any particular reason why they shifted the setting to the '60s, though? I remember reading something about it a while back, but it looked a bit out of place for me in the trailer. Read a bit in the Metro today where the director said he wasn't interested in doing a straight remake but when he read the book he felt it would be interesting to move it to 64 when Mods and Rockers were kicking off big style on a national stage. Great wee clip here. http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=29856
