Do The Dance
Anyone been to see it yet? Going either tonight or tomorrow. I think it could be good (if that's really the best way to describe it). I think James Franco is a decent actor as well.
milky_26
There is Oscar buzz about it, it looks like it could be film of the year for me. That is once i have seen it, probably go at the weekend to catch it.

I'll be very disappointed if this is the film of the year tbh... went to see it on Wednesday night. don't get me wrong, really good film and thoroughly enjoyed it, but think there will be some crackers coming out this year. hughesie27
Did you go with Mrs Barios Wotta? It looks good though. Will probably go at some point next week to watch it.
Das Root
Right. So it's about a guy who gets stuck in a hole and has to chop his arm off? I'm not seeing the fun tbh.
jackal
The rock that trapped him is being touted as best supporting actor.

Do The Dance
Ended up going to see it last night. I enjoyed it. It could have been rather boring just watching a guy stuck under a rock (it's true), but the direction the film took made it more watchable - although rather strange at times. James Franco was good as well. Worth going to see.
Do The Dance
Also, at 93 mins, it's not too long.

RoyCropper
the last 3 days was brillaint. Yeah, got to hand to him, when i saw the trailer i thought - "they will never make a film out of this, the guy is chancing his arm."
ThomasFlogel
I mean the actual film ' the last 3 days '.
Boaby Ewing
I liked it. Franco is a very, very good young actor. And Boyle's direction stops it from getting too boring -- in the end I thought it was actually quite moving. * Possible spoiler for those who failed biology/think it's another zombie movie by Boyle. The tendon moment. Sweet. Jesus.

The tendon moment. Sweet. Jesus. That wasn't a tendon Dave, that was nerve he was cutting through. It was seriously hard to watch that part and a couple of others. Very good film and well acted / directed. Go see it but be warned, it is difficult to watch for a few moments.

Flirting with failure, keeps things interesting.

Swanny17
Finally went to see it last night, and whilst it was okay, it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. Wouldn't watch it again.
