Coco
A sense of quiet indignation after that - not bothered enough to get the white hot angry that I should be. Banks - 6 - nothing to do Neilson - 7 - fine game, huge effort (no doubt one bad touch will be picked up on) Zaliukas - 5 - very shaky start, improved Berra - 7 - did fine Wallace - 6 - wasted at left back Miko - 7 - again a big effort from Miko, our only threat Stewart - 2 - shocker of a game from a guy who is not nearly as good as he thinks he is Palazuelos - 3 - passenger Chesney - 1 - no time Kingston - 1 - absolutely abysmal lack of effort is unforgiveable Elliot - 5 - worked very hard, out of position Ksnavicius - 0 - an utterly horrible game - cannot believe that he stayed on to the end, and cannot believe that someone gave him another year Mole - 3 - did nothing Screpis - 5 - no time, but made more challenges than Ksnavicius the whole game The terrible 4-5-1 wasn't working against Falkirk - Frail learned nothing from the previous games against Falkirk and learned nothing from the first 5-10 minutes today - so a like for like substitution was a bad bad decision. Even worse that it was Ksnavicius. Either Mole or Jonsson or Screpis for Chesney would have changed the shape. Falkirk offered little up front - our defence was rock solid again - 6 cleansheets in 7 against the non-OF teams. But Hughes knows how to organise them. If only we had a manager as good as that. thehibsareintheirbeds
Banks-6- decent enough...not alot to do Robbie-7- solid, got forward well Zal- 7- commanding, won everything he had to Berra-7- composed- good luck with Scotland Wallace- 6- looked a bit off the pace Ruben- 6 Usual neat touches, needs to influence more Stewart- 4- if effort's not good enough from neilson, then its not good enough from mikey, needs to get back to basics Miko- 7- impressive again Ches- 3- come in number 18 your time is up...another injury???? Larry- 6- pure class in flashes..bit lazy..cant ask for much more on return from injury Elliot- 5- stranded Audrey- 0- scandalous performance Mole and Screpis- should've both been on earlier (alongside Elliot) Frail - 0- clueless
bighusref
Just out of interest, how many times this season do you think we have said things along the lines of "no player deserves MOM this week, they were all awful". Far, far too often.

thehibsareintheirbeds
7 for Neilson ???? That is the biggest joke I have ever read on JKB. what did he do wrong today?...one bit of dodgy control, not many mistakes i can think of defended solidly got forward well, couple of decent balls in clean sheet not a fan and would rather have anyone else in there but neilson cant be blamed this week
davieholt
Banks-6- Okay no real danger Robbie-7- Did nothing wrong. Even his distribution has improved. Zal- 4- Shocking 1st half. Came on to a game in the 2nd. Berra-7- Calm and effective. Wallace- 4- Waste of space in the 1st half. Improved as the game went on. Ruben- 6 - Probably our best midfielder Stewart- 3- Headless chicken again Miko- 7- Well done on having a good game Ches- 3- Did nothing - 3 is a bit generous Larry- 6- Won't see him again this season now he's had his token game. Classy but whilst all around him were dismal he had little chance. Elliot- 5- worked hard but how often have we said that ? Audrey- 3 - Linked up well in the first hald but utter p#sh in the 2nd. Mole - 2 - difficult for the QOtS reject to shine when he has so little to offer. Screpis - 1 - no time I may well have Vladflu for the last few home games
Rick Grimes
7 for Neilson ???? Rick Grimes
Agreed but he's still total sheeeiiitte dunno. i'll take a solid player who you can get what you expect from him above at least half of the dross currently inhabiting the first team. Robbie's problem has always been his forward play, which is largely down to him not having any support in front of him.
redm
It's good to see Miko getting a break, he did really well today...but Neilson deserves credit too. rudi must stay
Banks- 7 - very impressive cos any defence with Zaliukas in it is a bombscare Robbie- 6 - usual game from him he never really looked troubled Zal- 5 - terrible first-half, got(slightly)better in the 2nd Berra-7- deserves the Scotland call-up Wallace- 4 - kept passing backwards when we were going forward Ruben- 7 - great passing, tackling everything really. Best player by a mile Stewart- 4 - didn't notice he was even playing till half-way through the first half Miko- 7- best i've seen him play in years Ches- 2 - thought he started quite well Larry- 5 - no point being skillful when you're 0-0 with 10 mins to go Elliot- 3 - didn't win a header all game Audrey- 2 - i was actually quite happy we brought him back, what a mistake that was Mole - 4 tried hard which was good to see Screpis - 1 - what's the point Frail
Gambo
Banks 6 Nothing to do. Neilson 1 Week in week out he gets a game, why? Berra 6 Caught out with a couple of high balls but done ok Zaliukas 6 Like Berra caught out a couple of times, but made a few timely interceptions and done ok. Wallace 5 Wasted at left back, midfield slot for him. Chesney 3 Off early Stewart 2 Shocker today from him. Ruben 6 Some nice passes, but needs to involve himself more. Kingston 6 Done okay just Miko 7 MOTM (and that says more for others round him than him himself), never stopped trying and looked like the only player on the park who could create Elliot 1 His miss when clean through says it all about his killer/striker instincts Audrey 1 The one is for his 3 tackles in 10secs, the rest of his performance was dreadful Mole 0 The zero = the amount of touches i think he had, should have been brought on as a second striker and not a replacement striker imo Screpis 1 Not on long enough Frail 0 Not got a clue imo, does not know how to change the game(perfect opportunity to put Mole on in place of Chesney, but continued to swap like for like even although it was clearly obvious the 'like' was not working.) Chris Benoit
Agree 100%. me too but unfortunately most people prefer to look for the easy target ie neilson and Elliot who i both thought were ok today Neilson the better of the 2 but what was obvious was that Elliot can't play as a lone striker and needs someone playing off him because too often today he ran out wide into good positions but that left nobody in the box. Ratings- Banks (6) Had nothing to do Neilson (7) 1 bad touch aside solid at back good going forward Wallace (5) ok Berra (6) Same old solid display Zali (5) Some misplaced passes but tried to play ball out from back Miko (7) MoM Best he's played in ages, hope he keeps it up Chesney (1) No time Stewart (3) Headless chicken! Ruben (6) Caught on ball a few times but still looks best MF we've got Kingston (5) We know you can beat a man but how about a final ball to go with it? ruined a few good opportunities trying to do too much Elliot (5) Ran himself into ground with no real support, loses point for puttin shot out for throw in SUBS Ksanavicious (1) Terrible Mole (2) Offered nothing new when he came on Screpis (1) No time
JennyJambo
Banks 6 Neilson 5 - Did what Robbie does only did it a tiny bit better. Berra 6 - Did the job he needed to. Zaliukas 5 - Average. Wallace 5 - Average. Chesney 2 - Not on long enough to judge. Stewart 3 - Needs to get his fecking finger out. Think the early season praise went to his head. Murder today. Ruben 5 - Average. Some decent stuff but not enough of it. Kingston 6 - Little flashes but lost it easily too often. Miko 7 - MOTM for me. How times change. Elliot 1 - Pointless Audrey 1 Pointless Mole 1 - Had no effect really. Screpis 1 Not on long enough Frail 2 - His subs and his tactics make me want to puke some days. Leisham38
Banks-6 Couple of decent catches, too keen to hoof the ball Robbie-4- Cringe everytime the ball is near him, just not a footballer Zal- 4- looked composed on the ball when he 1st came now just panics, not a loss if he left Berra-7- Cool and collective but don't think he is the leader we need Wallace- 4 Low on confidence, couple of good crosses in 2nd half Ruben- 6 - Some good touches but would like to see hom step up a gear or two Stewart- 2- Horrific 1st half, terrible set pieces, hid 2nd half Miko- 8- Best player on the park, some great runs and touches, let down by those around him Ches- 0- Don't know how you get injured without touching ball Larry- 6- Great player but needs games and i don't think there will be too many more in a maroon jersey Elliot- 2- Nothing went for him. His shot from18yards that went out for a throw 15yards out summed him up Audrey-4- Pushed off the ball every time he got near it Mole - 1 - After replacing Elliott I can not say fordefinite he touched the ball Screpis - 1 - no time

Dr. Bapswent
Honestly, SOme of the things people come up with on here show a total lack of thought. I mean the ratings given to Neilson are embarrassing. He was half decent today. I know this might be difficult for some of the less open minded to accept, but try saying it out loud. Cos its what actually happened.
