Bickfest Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Not a film title, but very possibly a 2 and a half week period that could define our season ? make it or break it. We start with a Scottish cup tie against St Johnstone. Another nice cup run would be fantastic (although there is a risk that it could just stretch our squad). Great for morale ? fans and players and it kind of fits in with our ?standard? success sequence of years ending in 6 and 1 (Winners 1891, 1896, 1901, 1906, 1956, 1998 (odd one out) and 2006, and R/up in 1976, 1986 and 1996.) So yes please to 2011. That is followed by 4 tough league matches ? Dundee Utd away, Kilmarnock away, Rangers home and Celtic away. Can?t get much tougher in our league. Come through that lot with the same gap to the Old Squirm and still in the Cup, then I?d start to dream again. ?Mon the JT?s! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The league has a long way to go and we don`t know how that is going to pan out yet, so the Scottish requires a strong focus as it could be our best chance of silverware.
