Yeh, I picked up on that. In the first half (mid-way) we had 66%, we then went onto to dominate the second half! We also had far more shots on target and corners galore, so it simoply doesn't add up. sack the statistician!

A Boy Named Crow

We had 40%, for the other 60% the ball was in the upper stratosphere. Apart from the odd hoof to return the ball skyward, St Lie Down hardly touched it!

St Mirren had 60% possesion all right...only player to touch it was their keeper.

Stats compiler has obviously been on the sauce early.. :whistling:

As I said on another thread last night, it an absolute joke.

Chic must have been on the LD!

Must have been real sick as his team (Ahem!!!) took a tanning.

Seriously, the "mistakes" the Beeb make on Hearts' reports and on their website are just too obvious!

Sky Sports has the same figure. 60-40 to St Mirren

Cant really believe those figures when we had 16 corners and 16 attempts at goal ( 11 on target)

According to the BBC Hibs once had 81% possession against us.

They dominated that game but 81% possession is nonsense. You ever watch a football game on Sky that is completely one sided and the possession comes up at the end, it's still never higher than 70%.

Sky got their figures for St. Mirren v Hearts from BBC, btw.

According to the SPL stats we had 40% possession last night, St Mirren had 60%. Baloney.

What such stats say is irrelevant (even when they get them right/close, unlike last night), there is only one stat that counts, we scored two goals they scored none.
