Next up - Derby!

 

Not just any Derby. A New Years Derby!!!!!!!!

 

Great couple of months leading up to it. Confidence must be huge in the squad. And we're at home, so let's get not just Tynie buzzing but the whole of Gorgie.

 

With the guys back who sat it out tonight, we should approach the game the same way we did versus ICT. A controlled, aggressive approach form the start. A wee flier would be lovely but would settle for a good bit of possession and then grow into the game.

We know a derby brings a certain mentality but its important to keep disciplined and stick to what we do best. Sometimes players get caught up in it all and lose focus and the good habits they have.

 

We know we`ll be up for it, we went down there and not one player was a failure. To me, tonights result said alot to me about how the mentality of the squad has developed. Its been an itty bitty few weeks but we haven`t dropped standards and thats been the most pleasing. Take that into Saturday and we have a very good chance of continuing our run.
