Would not surprise me at all.

Quite a coincedence that he is once again miraculously available to be called up by Ghana despite being "injured" for weeks at Hearts.

Erm...and you are basing this on...?

He has confirmed this to a couple of JKB-ers.

It has been mentioned in passing on other threads.

I feel it merits its own thread.

There's very little foundation to base a thread on it.

stirring in the extreme IMO.

A history of mystery "illnesses" and injuries at the club

A player fit to play for his country but not his club (second time it has happened with different players)

And 2 people who have been told by Kingston himself he is fit.

Mate you might not like my stance but get a grip of reality here

eh?

injured before ANC - plays for them - comes back with a minor ankle injury and isnt seen for months?

If you think "reality" at Hearts is that players are not kept out of the team because they are told they are injured I worry for you.

Rudi and Takis were the first.

Its been going on for the last 3 fecking seasons

Indeed. And at least the second time it's happened with Larry (he was injured pre African Nations for Hearts also, but fit in time to train and play with Ghana no problem).

Well if he has been then it totally negates the fact that Frail has full repsonsibility.

Now where is the puppet picture......

what a load of rubbish ! So he has being wearing a air boot for show has he ? or the fact that he didn't play in ghana last game ! I think he may have felt fit but the club have ask the doctors (did he not go to london to see a speacial doctor?) and they have said no. It may be they are wrapping in cotton wool as they plan to sell him, but that would make no sense as if he does not play then scouts can not see him IMO !

Also chesy was suppose to have had a felling out with vlad that is why he was left out, i can not remember kingston saying anything about him ?

As for Rudi, if memeroy severs me right, i can remember him being droped once for a illness, this was the first game of besjila played for us. Apart from that, he play when he was fit, even tho he admits that he was not even trying towards the end because he did not want to pick up a injure !

I ****ing hate, how someones thoughts can be seen as pure facts !

A couple of weeks ago whilst going to watch the u19's, i bumped into Larry walking up the steps from the car park, i said to him you're a bit old for the u19's and he replied that he was just going in for physio and the gym.

I've no idea whether Kingston is fit to play or not however if the club can't afford to play higher earning players and it is (financial) damage limitation to not play them & only pay them basic wages and play lower cost players instead then given the high level of debts / losses we should perhaps just have to accept this is a necessary part of cost cutting......the altenative is that debts & losses would be even higher & worse than they are.

Long term the answer is to get these players off the pay-roll and recoup as much transfer income as we can.

That about sums it up Dex.

Would his inclusion in the team at the moment change anything, would we suddenly become a good team again, able to look like a football team rather than going through the motions (with some fans almost wetting themselves with excitement because we produced a "storming" comeback to snatch a point against a p i s s poor St Mirren side).

Is he fit, is he not, who cares, our problems are more deep rooted than the return of one individual player.

For the doom and gloom we need money moaners... is it not the case that the insurance company would pay his wages if he was injured ? Or we said he was injured.

Oh and nothing bugs me more than the phrase 'discuss' esp if you just put a title and cant be bothered discussing it yourself.

You ask the question have we submitted such a claim, I suspect the answer is no, and despite his non playing status at the moment we will still be paying his basic salary, whatever that may be..

One would assume if such a claim had been submitted the claim would be against the insurers of The Ghanian FA, as this injury occurred while he was on international duty.

The voice of reason strikes again.

This has been the longest in years I've had to wait for a home game on a saturday in the season for years, yet am not that bothered about tomorrow.

Keep thinking something major is going to happen to us in the summer, and I dont think it will be good news though.

Hearts fans taken for mugs once again. It it me being a cynic that Hearts need a top 6 finish for the financial rewards, because a bottom 6 would spell even bigger financial disaster.

Miraculously our "best" player becomes fit for the make or break game?

You can draw your own conclusions, I know what mine are.........

Me too mate.

But when you are on the other side of an argument where the other people arent basing their defences / counter attacks purely on facts you are arguing single handed.

Anyway, I didnt present a FACT.

I presented a debate topic with snippets of background information.

The fact that we've got one person on here practically begging for one of the best players we have had in a decade to be sold (AND NOT PLAYING HIM UNTIL THEN TO SAVE ON APPEARANCE MONEY, and we have others saying they dont care if players are being kept out of the team whether they are fit or not is astonishing.

Absolutely astonishing.

And I am not criticising those people for those thoughts. No matter what anyone thinks of me or my stance I think of everyone in here as people I am having a virtual pint with.

However, I think it is quite frankly unforgiveable that those running our club have reduced the hopes and thoughts of our fans to those sorry levels

I'M IBRAHIM TALL

Kingston was injured in the pre match warm up for the ACN final. He sat on the bench with his foot strapped up. Which suggests to me a genuine injury. He is called up to the Ghana squad the same week we are told he is fit to play against Falkirk. Which suggests to me his is fit to play both games.

Cant say I see a problem here. Maybe I live a sheltered life and dont move in the same circles as many people in here, having clandestine chats with "disgruntled" first team players. Maybe if I hung about Riccarton or the David Lloyd Centre or Tesco's in Chesser or wherever, I might be in the know but alas I prefer to fill my spare time with (what i feel are) more worthwhile activities.

Sometimes, just sometimes, players are injured and cant play, or does that not apply to our wee circus?

It certainly a possibility, but equally, I think it's fair to say it's possible ( given our recent track record) that he's not actually injured.

When did he last actually play a match for Hearts? And how many games has he played for Ghana during that period.

If I remember correctly, he was also injured for six weeks or so prior to ANC. Then miraculously fully fit the day of their training camp starting.

Can people who believe this answer a couple of questions.

1) If he wasn't injured. Why was he left out of the semi final of the Africans Nations?

2) Why has he worn an air boot for weeks since returning to Edinburgh? Have saw this myself.

3) Professional footballers while deem themselves fit when they are not 100% all the time. Isn't it likely that's just what this is?

Mrs General works at the airport and twice recently has met Larry there and spoke to him,on both occasions he confirmed that he was injured and was seeing a specialist in London - last Saturday he said he hoped to be back this week ( I posted this on Sunday ) and promised her a goal.I dont norm post on these topics-certainly not twice ) but am getting fed up with the lies and half truths some people spout on KB

So we now have a few kickbackers confirming he was injured, what is there to discus except a few over active imaginations maybe not helped by some of the clubs way of doing things.

Sometimes with pressure type injuries you can feel fit as a fiddle but the specialist can still advise you too rest up a bit longer to be sure its healed.

If Vlad is going to sell Larry then Id bet he would rather he played in a good Ghanian team and looked good along side other multi million pound players than play for a p**s poor 5th bottom utter gash SPL side that doesnt do anything for his value

As others have said this season has been one to forget so why not let him shine for Ghana again ?

Got to disagree on this one Dex. I sure as hell care, it seems Hearts pay his salary run up our debt and any sell on fee seems to go missing into the motherland. Yes I sure as hell do care if this is what has been going on.
