Victor Meldrew Posted December 12, 2010 Share Posted December 12, 2010 I think Rudi has probably realised that Tynecastle is the best place for him. Before his first stint with us he'd had a pretty patchy career. He came to us and had an awesome season. Dare I say it he probably got a bit puffed up by all of the success and adulation, and perhaps gave Burley more of the credit than was deserved (hence following him to Soton). After he moved, he sank without trace. Now he's back. We're flying, he's scoring, the fans love him. I suspect that the older and wiser Rudi realises that the SPL is a level where he can excel that he's at a club where he can get European football. He might even manage to get back into the Czech squad. Unless Vlad fouls things up again, I reckon it's unlikely Rudi will look to move on in a hurry.
