Jesus, didn't realise we were that far through already, I stand corrected. The game is still the start of January though?

Is it shown live anywhere? TV or internet?

doubt it but sky sports news will tell you i'd imagine. just check bbc scotland or this site.

still not 100% sure it's at that time but it seems reasonable. I did ask on a message board

Bo'ness at home would be good.

Would be a tricky tie. Bo'ness have been one of the top junior teams in the country for the past two years and are of upper 2nd division level in standard. I certainly would fancy them get a result against any team from the bottom two divisions in the SFL.

Dunfermline Athletic

Falkirk

Queen of the South

Greenock Morton

Ross County

Partick Thistle

Dundee

Brechin City (replay v Annan)

Ayr United

Alloa Athletic

Airdrie (replay v Beith)

East Fife

Stenhousemuir (replay v Threave)

Peterhead

Stranraer

Berwick Rangers

Annan Athletic (replay v Brechin)

Elgin City

Montrose

East Stirlingshire

Buckie Thistle

Threave Rovers (replay v Stenny)

Beith (replay v Airdire)

That's the teams left in it (apart from the SPL). Beith and Threave both went 2-0 up away to second divisions teams but lost late goals to go to a replay.

Not many grounds like that these days. Somerset Park springs to mind. Wouldn't mind that.

Brechin City, Peterhead, Elgin City, Montrose or Buckie Thistle would be ideal for me. Would rather not get Aberdeen again.

Oh yes yucky.gif

If you want to know the story, then I believe that Celtic played them in a friendly in the early 1900s and left behind their strips and Buckie have played in those colours ever since.

I'm sure that Buckiejambo can confirm this story (is he George Cowie by any chance).

hope we get a home tie. seems a stupid time to have a cup draw. why couldn't we have made it saturday after all the full times so people have a chance to watch it in the pub.

nevermind. Hearts v hibs again would be good

I hope we get a decent home draw and that JJ has the players gagging for it like for no other game in the whole calendar apart from the derbies. Realistically the latter and every round of the Scottish Cup we can manage are the biggest games we play in the whole season. It's really poor that we have performed so lamentably in the Cup since we won it in 2006.

My prediction: Airdrie/Beith at Tynecastle.

Hopefully not Airdrie, we're never very lucky against them in cup competitions.
