Extremely sad news.

The First Hearts goalkeeper I had the pleasure of watching.

Rest In Peace J.C.

Hearts legend in the true sense of the word.

Very sad indeed - as others have rightly pointed out, he is one man truly worthy of being called a Hearts legend. RIP Cruicky.

I'm too young to have seen Jim in action, going by the fantastic stories on here i wish i'd seen the man play.

RIP Jim and my thoughts are with your family and friends.

Seeing Jim when I was 5 made me want to be a goalie - now 40 years old he was a hero to me.

So sad to hear he has passed away.

Thoughts & prayers with his family & friends.

RIP & thanks Jim.

Say What Again

I only ever heard the tales of his heroics from my Dad and Uncle, I never had the pleasure of seeing him myself.

RIP Jim.

Very sad news, only ever heard of his performances from my parents and from what they said and some of the stories on here, I only wish I had a chance to see him play for myself.

RIP Cruicky - A legend in every sense of the word it would seem.

Was gutted when Gordon Marshall left but this allowed me to watch the best keeper Hearts have ever had. Indeed a very sad day for us all especially people my age who idolised the man

Dagger Is Back

The main man at Tynie when I first started going to games.

Have been fortunate to see some cracking goalies at Tynie over the years and Cruikie is up there with them.

RIP
