jamboinglasgow
Last night Craig Thomson and Robert Ogleby earned their first caps under 21 caps for Scotland and Wales. On a sidenote, in our best U19 XI atm, 8 of them have been capped at at least U17 level (4 at U17, 3 at u19, and 2 now at U21.)

redm
Tommo. You could have a job on your hands getting that one to catch on JMT. Even if it is correct.

Think I read on here it was down to lack of money down there rather than anything to do with his ability or attitude

There's actually 14 who have played for the U19s at some point this season (including substitute appearances and friendlies) who have been capped at some age group by their respective countries Fairley, J Hamilton, Mullen, McHattie, Walker, Holt, Robinson, Smith, Prychynenko, Ogleby, Snapkauskas, Kapustas, Carrick and King. Charlie-Brown
When are these boys going to see some first team action? I don't know when for these kids but all of our best players and most valuable players in recent times have been those that have come up through the youth teams & the reserves Craig Gordon, Christophe Berra, Lee Wallace, Andy Driver, David Templeton, Eggert Jonsson. We can't afford to compete for or buy the best players in the transfer market but we can try to spot & sign the best young players we can afford when they ages 15-18 and looking to sign for an SPL club.
