Was refusing to even take calls from us so we sent someone to his door in Lisbon (or it might have been Switzerland, but someone was sent on a plane to speak to him is the point)! Seems happier without a club than at Hearts. Great to see Zal finally put pen to paper. Just think back a month to how shaky and vulnerable our defense and subsequently the whole team looked against ICT, Falkirk and Motherwell. Zal back in and, boom, best defense in the league. Anyone who can't see his worth to the team is simply dillusional. Have a feeling he'll be away in the summer but this deal makes sense for all concerned whether he stays or goes. Great stuff, Cap'n!
