Jambo66 Posted November 11, 2010 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Looking at the BBC clip of Lennon being sent to the stand, I can't help thinking that the ref sends Lennon and Thompson to the stand. The fourth official in response to a question from the ref seems to be saying "both of them". The ref then seems to point to 2 different people and sends both of them to the stand. Obviously, Thompson didn't leave the technical area, but I am struggling to think of another explanation for the ref acting in the way he did.
