The goal sparked a drab derby into life, Hearts fans invading the pitch ahead of some amazing scenes at full-time as the visiting players linked arms and gloated as if they had just won a trophy themselves. Indeed, following the over-exuberant celebrations, visiting fans refused to leave the ground, ensuring a 30-minute hold-up before the CIS Cup was finally paraded by Collins' side. To add to their day of woe, the Easter Road club could face the wrath of the SFA after a home supporter threw what appeared to be a full cup of coffee at the celebrating Hearts stars. However, all the talk afterwards centred on the Tynecastle club getting their own back after Collins' controversial remarks. "We used that as a major part of our motivation," said Frail.
