trago13
Im quite into non league football down here in engerland it seems the Famous are not the only ones with a problem with the men in black. This is classic stuff. The luminaries of our time should be celebrated and this witty discourse on the nature of tyranny cleverly disguised as a match report should not be confined to a website which nobody reads. Below is the "match report" on the Bemerton Heath website after top of the league BHH lost three nil at Fareham. They had a player sent off and their Manager was sent to the stand. Throughout they complained about everything and disputed every decision. At one point whilst Fareham were taking a corner four of their defenders were in a huddle arguing with the crowd about one of the greatest injustices of our time unfolding around them. Food for thought indeed. Steve C http://www.bhhfc.co.uk/reports1.html Saturday 30th October 2010 Sydenhams Wessex Premier League For those of you who visit this page and enjoy reading my reports I offer you my apologies. There is no report on the match this week as it was a complete and utter farce. This is supposed to be a Premier League and everyone attached to football at this level should expect certain standards to be maintained unfortunately this match fell way below any expected standard. So this week I thought I might write about something away from football that might inspire some debate. Authority and power is fundamental in any society but put it into a society whereby it cannot be questioned or challenged and that authority and power is open to abuse. This society then becomes a dictatorship and there are some dictators that treat everyone the same, some that have their favourites and also those they dislike. If you question a dictatorship, and you are proved to be right, there will always be consequences, but be warned, dictators will then test your resolve with some unfair treatment that they know you will respond to. This then makes it look like it is you at fault and punishment is easy to administer and even looks as though it may be, in some bizzare way, justified. Dictators are not alone they will always have some loyal companions who never question their authority and always stay quiet even if they believe the dictator to be wrong, which in itself is hard to accept. If you are one of the unlucky ones to receive some unjust and unfair treatment it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth and a knotted feeling in your stomach. You know this treatment should not be questioned and if you dare to question it, further punishment is administered as this is the only way the dictator know how to handle a situation and they know their decisions will always be supported by people who have not witnessed anything. Once punishment has been administered then it will not be reversed or changed even if it is proved to be wrong and those unlucky enough to receive such treatment will find themselves still having to pay for this. So what can be done about this kind of situation, well firstly those in power have to admit there is something wrong. Once that is agreed then normally the bad dictators are removed and some normality is resumed, however, if those in power take the view that nothing is wrong then the problem will always remain and those who are receiving unfair treatment have to either grin and bear it or resign and remove themselves from that society. Does anyone want to live in a dictatorship society, I very much doubt it. Food for thought isn?t it.
Guest juvehearts
we all know the sfa is as bent as michael barrymore's cell mate. we just still grin & bear it because when we do speak up about it, fine fine fine & then swept under the carpet. the entire scottish football structure is a joke because of this scotland will NEVER host or qualify for a major tournament. juve
colinmaroon
There is a lot of incompetence in Scottish refereeing but, only an apologist (or worse) would try to cover the corruption with that old chestnut!!! When you lance a boil, there's a lot of puss to come out, else the infection will not be dealt with and it will just get more "corrupt"!!!
