We have a team in our top league going bust, another team who has had to close its ground DURING the season because their pitch is such a disgrace and a governing body who could not organise a **** in a brothel. We have referees and a chief exec who bend over and let Wattie and WGS pump them from behind week in and week out. We also have a 12 team league with a pathetic split that means the 7th placed team usually gets more points than the 6th placed team. We are a total laughing stock around the World! Surely it is time we radically overhauled the league? Surely an 18 team league is the way forward. We need to make drastic changes as the SPL is a complete joke right now! Erik Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Agree with all of the above other than the "laughing stock around the world" comment - I really dont think we're a big enough nation for folk elsewhere to even give half a hoot about whats going on. If this was Italy or England, it would be a national scandal..... Scotland as a nation doesnt give enough of a damn about the state of its own game, so why would any other nation give a damn about it either?!?
