Howdy Doody Jambo
Our home record is poor awful in the last year , it's hardly a fortress more of a charity case , free points for all that come calling St Mirren apart big whoops Is our problems down to the fact of our midfield shape with 2 sitting deep in the centre ? Andy Driver & Lee Wallace being out injured for so long ? Our defenders distributuion being poor , launching it for the big man up front . JJ and BB being out-foxed by Craig Brown and now Mixu Why do we have a fear of going out and winning games ?
ibpc
And why do we always get worse later in the game?
heartsfc_fan
Yesterdays game was similar to that Aberdeen 3-0 horror show at Tynecastle (Csaba's last game?). Killie played the balls for the forwards to run on to over the back 4. It's concerning the lack of pace we have back there.
Charlie-Brown
I actually thought yesterdays game seemed to be a fairly typical SPL away team 'smash n grab' performance ie keep it tight, absorb the home team pressure and counter-attack, try to make the most of any set-pieces & chances, try to ensure by stifling the home team until they run out of steam and ideas and pick them off late in the game, it worked well but it really wasn't anything different to what Hearts done at Pittodrie, Hamilton & Inverness or what most away teams do or try to do. Diego10
the only team in the league, outwith the OF, who have won more than 2 home games is Dundee United. It's no just Hearts who have a problem at home, every team in the top 5 has a better away record than home. Most of the teams like to play on the counter-attack these days and when the onus is on you to attack it is easy to set up in that way. Our central midfield is no set up to dictate play, we don't have the players to do it.

Our central midfield is no set up to dictate play, we don't have the players to do it. it also seems to be a recurring theme in recent seasons for non OF teams to fail to take advantage when they have the opportunity to set themselves up nicely or put a points gap between them and their rivals after other teams have slipped up or dropped points. How many times have we seen Hearts, Hibs, Utd, Motherwell, Dons etc slip up in circumstances like yesterday. Instead of continuing a good run they suffer a bad loss or drop points and the opportunity is lost.
Creepy Lurker
We already seem to have reached a situation where if Skacel and Kyle don't turn up, we're absolutely incapable of creating chances. Added to a defence which, without Zaliukas, appears absolutely incapable of...well, defending, that's pretty worrying.
