busby1985
Can any of the guys with info do some digging for us! What's our record like shooting at the gorge road end first half? Not looking for all time records maybe just last 5 years etc. Always hate watching us attack that end first, doesn't seem right! Do the result back this up? Only a Game
Something is just not right about shooting that way first half. Was always going to happen if we lost the toss today because the sun was shining right at the Roseburn goals and the Gorgie end was entirely in the shade. I wonder if the players were effected by it. I certainly hope not. Will be interesting to see if anyone has stats for this though.
CavySlaveJambo
That is what I'd like to know as well.
The Merse
Not sure but I remember we beat Hibs shooting into the Gorgie first half last season.
heartsfc_fan
What I said to the guy next to me before the game started. "Bet we lose the toss and Kello has to face the sun" "...and we always play pesh if we shoot to the Gorgie end"
Tokyo Drifter
I've always had a theory that if we get to half time and we haven't scored then we're not going to score. It usually works out that way. Mind you, there's been a few great winners at the Gorgie Road end. Bouzid against Celtic, Miko against Motherwell in the 3-2 game after we decided not to employ McGhee.
