Auds
Hearts won a hard fought match at lesser hampden this morning, winning 4-1. With the back four taking the can for last weeks result they had something to prove today and did so admirably, with the experience of the 2 centre backs along with 2 recognised full backs, keeping a busy queens park frontline under raps. The first half showed Hearts building from the back and dominating possesion, rounding this off with 2 great goals. Queens scored as the first half drew to a close and continued their turn around in fortune for the first 20mins of the second half. The young Hearts team then dug deep and found their form once more and scored a further two goals to win in style, all four goals coming from Callum Paterson, who must have impressed onlooking Scotland u17 manager Ross Mathie. Hopefully the injury sustained by Dale Carrick in the first half isn't too serious and hopefully he's back playing soon. I've been very impressed by Callum Patterson this season and I'm looking forward to see him improve further once he starts full-time training in the new year.
