Scotland Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 After seeing this album advertised as "Album of the year"(winning the category in the Mercury Prize), I thought I'd give it a wee listen. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Very calming music, filled with a mix of smoky crooning, nimble keyboard trickery and slippery treble-heavy riffs. I'd say it's certainly well worth a listen, and it may not be your cup of tea, but that's the same with everything.
