Guest vanbasten1874
Serious question what kind of quality player wise at this moment in time do HMFC have at their disposal out of their entire playing staff ? Out of 30 or so players id say about a half dozen probably in the region of 20% . Out of that 6 , 3 played yesterday that gives a quality % in a matchday team of say a quarter . What result were we expecting yesterday ? i think we got what we paid for . Its not JJs fault Vlads Fault Rodneys fault its market forces at work its the economy stupid .. Libertonian_II
The reason we are so bad, is as you say, down to the lack of quality players The only players of an acceptable standard are Kello, Wallace, Zaliukas, Driver, Templeton and Kyle. As for the rest...... Three of those weren't playing yesterday while the rest have been assembled by JJ's predecessors, Stevenson and Elliott excepted. CBjambo
Think JJ has to shoulder 50% of the blame for this defeat in the way he set up the team. For an spl manager of such long standing to send out that side to play arguably the best of the rest was a farce... we lost the game in midfield, played 4-5 players out of position and relied once again on his Killie long ball tactics to the big target man. I'd have expected better from a lesser manager with the squad he has... but JJ should be embarrassed by the manner in which that team folded. Due to various reasons JJ is having to play players out of position. He isn't happy about it but his hands are tied - VR has withdrawn the services of Zaliukas and he gave JJ Rudi when a Left Back was what we needed. It could easily have been 5 or 6. The stats. from the papers today just about sum it up. Hearts 1 shot on target Motherwell 11 shots on target. Absolutely pathetic. bighusref
When our squad is fully fit 67.8% At the moment we aren't so good and have unfit players, so we are around about 53.4%

Sorry but until Rudi and McGowan have been tried and found wanting at LB then the "It's Vlad's fault BS doesn't cut the mustard"
