tartofmidlothian
My heart says Hearts will finish 3rd, win a cup and surprise us all. My head says we'll finish 4th, get to a cup semi and have a fairly good if unspectacular season. (Dundee Utd will be 3rd) Whichever one of Celtic or Rangers wins the League will scrape over the finish line in the last month. Both will be p15h, but significantly better than the rest of us. David Templeton and Craig Thomson will be contenders for young player of the season. (Temps will win it) Andy Webster will be a contender for player of the season. Other than when he scores against us, we won't be bothered about missing out on Hartley. Dunfermline for the 1st division. Boro for the Championship. Hibs will be top 6. We'll take more points off them than they do off us. Liverpool will challenge for the title, but won't win it. (or maybe they will) Real Madrid for the Champs League. Del1812
You don't half post some utter shite. He's got a point with regard to that shout JiG. Morton were rank last year and there is nothing they have done in the summer which would make me think that will change for this campaign.

Sydney
Rangers or Celtic to win SPL.... I know it's a long shot, but I'm willing to go with it. Hearts to not score enough goals and crowds to continue to dwindle at Tynecastle.

Hearts of Vladland
The parts that matter; SPL winners Celtic, Rangers will have to keep everyone fit with such a small squad and with CL it will not be possible. As it stands Dundee United outsiders for 2nd, Motherwell and us fighting out for 4th St Johnstone and Hibs battling for top 6 unless Hughes can get the form from the start of last season back which I doubt and St Biibery for the drop, lost Dorman and Memhet. If we get a striker that will score 10-15 goals 4th is the best we can do which to be honest I would be happy with, Europe and still building. For anyone only looking at leagues Celtic Rangers Dundee United Heart of Midlothian Motherwell Vermin St Johnstone Aberdeen ICT Killie Hamilton St Bribery Scottish Cup: (Heart of Midlothian) vs Celtic League Cup: St Johnstone vs (Rangers) Team in brackets are the winners, the Scottish Cup doesn't start till after Janurary so Kyle and Driver will be fit and JJ will hopefully have added futher players to the squad. Anyone who can beat Hearts must be too good for Div 1.

Anyone who can beat Hearts must be too good for Div 1. I dont think you can base it on a pre-season friendly. I think Dunfermline will do well though. Falkirk have not lost too many and have some players brought in that could do well in the first division, so I imagine they are joint favourites. Dundee are another but I think last season was their year but they fell away badly in the second half of the season. So I will go for Falkirk.
