Frankenstein Jambo.

Miss this show - watching full highlights on youtube and it is utter class.

Brilliant how good the actors can improvise.

Agreed. Superb programme, with the added bonus of the gorgeous Josie Lawrence.

You've taken that too far.

Josie Lawrence was terrible, as were all the other female guests.

One programme I never actually got. It just seemed to me a full half hour of I am more clever than you and performers that were totally up their own collective arses.

Whilst I agree with Cheile in the sense that Josie Lawrence was (is?) tidy as ****, I have to agree with this.

Women aren't funny. Sorry ladies, I'm not being sexist or anything, but women just aren't funny.

Agree.

And not only that...most of their improv seemed to me to be scripted.

No Stewart Grainger was that programme completely unscripted. And it had a very very hig self satisfaction quotiant.

Chronically unfunny programme.

It did seem scripted, but if it was the writers were abysmal.

I saw the live version at the Comedy Club in London with Josie Lawrence, Greg Proops and a couple of other relatively unknowns. I have to say it was absolutely hilarious and no way was it scripted. They were asking the audience to shout stuff out and they were improvising their way through it.

Possibly didn't translate to tv quite as well as the "live" atmosphere was left on the cutting room floor!

Rick Grimes

was a good show in the day, but has aged badly.

John Sessions was always a twunt tho.

I can't believe that anyone actually thought that this was anything other than a bunch of unfunny "comedians" reading a prepared script

I just didn't think a bunch of (sometimes) well known comedians could write something that bad.

I mean, seriously, how unfunny is it most times?

9 misses out of every jokes 10 IMO.

Tony Slattery was always completely coked off his nut.

I would take great pleasure in hacking Slatterys head off with a rusty saw.
