It's the funniest thing I've read this year. Where do they get this pish?

So Hibs play like both World cup finalists, Spain and Holland. What about Brazil - obviously not good enough for them anymore?

They just keep on setting themselves up with sort of thing, don't they?

They really did look like Holland when they were being slaughtered by St Johnstone and pumped home and away by Hearts.

Oh dear. You'd think they'd learn after so many years of failure and humiliation but they clearly don't.

"The manager has always liked the Dutch style too. It's total football over there and that's the way Yogi has us playing.

And who could forget the quote from Chick Young they had as their official website banner.

And so the Flair-Myth lives on, from generation to generation.

A bit like the Loch Ness monster. The locals want to believe it, but no-ones actually seen it.

Just read the interview with Kevin "Schneider Van Persie Xavi Alonso" McBride, they really can't help themselves. They may however believe in the old adage that if you say something often enough some people will come to accept is as the truth.

Only saw the architects of the beautiful game once in the flesh last season and in that game they nearly took the leather of the ball the amount of time they spent blootering it up to Stokes.

Let them perpetuate the myth and we'll keep handing out the lessons.

When you read stuff like this it's always worth remembering:-

How long since Hibs last won a European tie over two legs (not counting Intertoto)?

- Nearly 21 years (against Videothon)

How long since Hibs won through more than two rounds in Europe?

- They never have (admittedly, it's a feat Hearts only managed once, but we don't have their outstanding European pedigree)

In the unlikely event that you come across a Hibs fan, or indeed a journalist, who's interested in facts, you can pass these on.

As an example, every team that enters the Scottish Cup tries to win it.

Most never do in their history.

Some only manage it very rarely, and often a very, very long time ago.

Gregory House M.D.

Jesus Christ... Is this the same glorious flair team whose midfield never once touched the ball in the Tynecastle derby? Think Mcbrides been at the crack pipe! Deluded hobo fud.

Thank you! Thank you!

Not a good day! Feeling ill and in pain - and the only pain I have now is as a result of

SPLITTING MY SIDES!!!

Can't wait until next week, after Spain win and we'll have a story how Pedro McGlumpher from Leith took the beautiful game to Spain!!!

Xavi and Van Brockhurst said at the press conference; "we hope for a fantastic celebration of football to cap off this World Cup, and it has all the makings of a classic, what with both teams having taken elements of their play from the famous Lochend team Hibernian" said Xavi.

"Indeed", agreed Van Brockhurst, "Their goalie is going to keep kicking the ball 70 yards up the field whilst we kick everything in sight". :D

Very prophetic.

"Spain are exceptional - and we try and pass that way although obviously not to the same standard."

Oh come now, no false modesty please
