Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
So where's all this "wow, scary" weather then? Cancelled an all day test session up at Knockhill today as the forecasts were predicting gales and heavy rain/snow! Even the forecast for Edinburgh was strong winds and heavy rain - so far it's been light rain and zero wind. OK, I've saved about ?400 but I could have done with the track time. Not happy. Disclaimer: Chances are it is gale force winds and snow up at The Hill - mind you it could be like that in July!

makateer
Check the met office website: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/ I looked at it yesterday and there was no weather warnings issued for the whole of Scotland.
felix
Check the met office website: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/ I looked at it yesterday and there was no weather warnings issued for the whole of Scotland. The only people who should be receiving severe weather warnings are farmers in the mid-west who've every chance of seeing their house disappear up the vortex of a cyclone, or perhaps some hut dwellers in south-east asia in an earthquakes or tsunami zone. That's severe weather.

IronJambo
i would hardly call it severe weather here in london either. due to the pishin rain visibility was poor on the A13 earlier and the plants on my balcony blew over. they're a bit soft down here when it comes to the weather

Craig R
Scotland is missing the worst of it. It's more England and Wales that the warnings were directed at.
