The Old Tolbooth

You gotta watch with Blackpool hotels, around 85% of them are flea ridden cesspits and should be condemned, however we were lucky 2 years ago and found a half decent one.

The rooms are nothing special but the breakfasts and bar facilities were very good, and they were very welcoming. I would go back to that one.

I'm heading down first thing on Saturday morning for the day and night, I've stayed in the same B&B the last three times near the south shore and pleasure beach, but can I remember the name of it:confused:

Im heading down on Friday for 2 nights drink and casino:)

Staying at The Viking on Southshore seafront, remember you only get what you pay for hotel wise.

Best bet is firstly park the car in a "safe"place...then look around for digs.

Agreed.

Twice we made the mistake of going to Blackpool B&B's with the youngster, we were sold on the internet descriptions of the places. Twice the reality and dirtiness of the B&B's basically was an affront to the trades descriptions act.

Get yourself onto Expedia and book rooms in the bog-standard hotel chains down there. They're usually just as cheap and more importantly they are CLEAN.
