teepee
Currently watching this game over here, decent game no goals yet, but entertaining. Now heres the thing Craig Thompson is refereeing the game and hes doing a bloody good job, he's letting flow, only made 2 bookings, both of which were correct decisions, the commentators have said a few times that hes adding to the game and he is. So why the hell dose he not do this on a domestic level?, the players in both teams are helping him thats for sure, no rash challenges no real back chat just getting on with their respective game plans, so is he good ref that we just cant see due to our blinkered views or does the Scottish game not allow our refs to actual referee the game or is he just biased ******* that has no interest in the outcome of this game Athelitco just gone 1 up. The Merse
Craig Thompson is one of the only decent refs we have here. He's fair more often than he's not imo.

Cobblers
I'm sure it's much easier when he doesn't have to work to his bosses instructions.

stirlo
Thompson is probably the top scottish referee at the moment. He is maybe a bit card happy - but he is generally consistent and does not shirk away from making big decisions even if that sometimes means the old firm teams are on the receiving end. TheBigO
Dallas generally did very well on the world stage too. It's not cheating or anything conspirational (well, not really-ish), but it's just been set up for so many years in Scotland that the game is reffed in such a way and it's so inbuilt that certain decisions should and shouldn't be made that even talented refs can't get past it. When they do, they soon disappear!
Mikey Gardiner
he is probably scotlands best ref and deserves to be given the chance to ref abroad. Hugh Dallas was also decent when he refereed abroad.
Seymour M Hersh
Agreed. Proved it by sending off two current buns in diddy cup final. He's been sent a little further than Coventry by the GFA for that infraction then.
