Howdy Doody Jambo
Anybody ever fitted their own wooden flooring ? Is it a job for a joiner or is it simple enough for a modest DIYer like myself who would give most home projects a go . Thinking about tackling 12m square ish room , 15mm thick wood i bought from direct flooring but wonder if it will be better to get a professional job . Is it better to glue it or nail it or both or neither ? Any advice would be much appreciated
IronJambo
i don't know the answer to any of your questions but i will say this. if you're going to stick nails in the floor at least make sure you use tabelpan(sp) nails so you don't go straight through and into a pipe

If your purchasing cheep stuff then crack on yourself.
