Can anybody recommend anywhere? 4 of us going. Cheers. Newcastle hotels at the weekend are not cheap. Depends if you want to be in the centre, and how much you want to spend. Jury's is not very good. jvm32 Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 We stayed at a Travelodge/Premier Inn (Can't remember which) next to the Metro Centre. 10 mins from the city centre in a taxi and cheap as chips stayed there as well (travelodge if I remember correctly) and it was really easy to get to and from town, and a whole lot cheaper than staying right in the centre. stayed at the premier inn in the centre once as well, massivley overpriced but very central location. Col1874 Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Id steer well clear of the Travelodge beside the metro centre - Modern place and everything but we had to change rooms 3 times due to problems and that was only an overnight stay!
