Got up, got some bacon rolls. Watched porn, wept, put on some bets, played call of duty.

Happy valentines day.

Sounds like someone stole your care package.

My thoughts are with you at this time.

i wonder if the gung/kung part might differ in various dialects though.

Can't comment re dialects but it's a possibility. If you ever visit HK at Chinese New Year they certainly use "k".

As for Mrs Therapist, she is recovering from a foot operation on Thursday and is housebound for the rest of this coming week. I am pampering her a bit so got her a card, flowers delivered this morning, and a bottle of Veuve Cliquot. Who says romance is dead?

It's "kung". :whistling:

Should I send a text message back to my chinese friend who just sent me a message with it spelt gung?

You would think she would know better. :whistling:

ah veuve cliquot, one of my favourite drinks actually.

well, good on you for looking out for her... just make sure its romance on more than just valentines day though lol. i cannot be arsed with valentines day to be honest.. commercial crap.

i prefer romance to be spontaneous and not a case of "oh well you gotta do something cos its valentines day!"

I made pretty much the same statement to Mrs Therapist just the other day, but she ordered me to buy her stuff or else....
