I was expecting you to ask for the exact latitude and longitude next. ;)

Was this the beastie you did? https://en-gb.facebook.com/GlenClovaXtremeDuathlon/

In that case, kudos. That must have been both fun and exhausting at the same time.

Yes it was, very satisfying and harder than a marathon, although the nausea and inability to eat for an hour after it was not too pleasant. ?

Great find.  You're getting very good at this.  Point to redjambo.

Cheers. I'm sure I'll be getting a job offer from GCHQ any time soon. ;)

That was an interesting one to find - I was getting nowhere at all before that second photo, although the crow-stepped whitewashed gable can be indicative of a marine location (they appear to like them on the Fife coast).

I've been in Lamb's house a number of times fixing their PC's.  Apparently built in 1610.  Now, that's old.

For info, the plaque on the shore ties in very nicely with the previous photo as Mary Queen of Scots reportedly stayed for an hour or so at the Lamb family's house (the same family who would go on to own Lamb's House) on her return from France in 1561 while the nobles in Edinburgh were informed of her return.

For interest, I got it through the quatrefoil on the facade (the circle with four bulges) - that and the arch at the top indicated that it might be a religion-related house of some sort.
