Tazio
You won't find much cheaper than Maplin on Dalry Road. Check out their website for deals. I drove past a few days ago and they were doing 1Tb external drives for less than ?70 so you should be able to pick up 500Mb for less tan your ?50. 269miles
Webuser magazine did a review some weeks ago but I don't have a copy to hand. Their website isn't easy to navigate to find the reviews online but they gave this one a good write up - available for just over ?50 from Amazon etc. http://www.webuser.co.uk/products/hardware-reviews/storage/127479/1/seagate-freeagent-go
