CHeers, yes using IE and its opening Windows Media Player but asked to upgrade WMP first, which I did. Tried on another PC same problem!! O' well BBC fair and balanced commentary it is! Try following the "matchday" links on the site as I think they have changed the link and haven't updated the old ones - hence the original errors that I got.
