STV are getting a bit carried away with them but they just milking the homecoming cash subsidies from the Government because they're skint.

I can't really comment on the actual programmes though because I haven't watched any of them. But from the trailers it looks like the usual parochial pish from our region.

Are you talking about STV here? I have noticed that they now have a lot of Gaelic programmes on which isnt great considering we live in the central belt and there are very few Gaelic speakers here. At least I think they are Gaelic, cant imagine what other language they would be.

Something which annoys me is STV Casino, ****ing rubbish. The BBC shows are alright though imo.

Well I've just checked STV for today and it appears that if not wrong you may not be entirely right either.

17:10 to 18:10 STV Rugby: The Magners League

18:10 to 18:25 STV News

21:00 to 22:10: Scottish Sports Awards

I make that 2:25 identifiably Scottish Content* which is 20 minutes more than they devoted to Columbo.

That's not to say that STV isn't pish but being "Too Scottish" is a long way down the list of reasons why it's too pish.

* And the Magners League coverage included matches between Welsh and Irish Teams so Peter Falk's iconic detective arguably gets more screen time
