Danyl is the 5/6 favourite to go this week. I don't think there is much between him and Joe as the best singers.

Hope Danyl goes.

I said as soon as I saw his first audition that Danyl would win.

I've seen nothing to make me change my mind.

The guy is unbelievable.

The Old Tolbooth

Danyl going home tonight methinks, either him or Olly

I reckon Stacey and and Joe are shoeins for the final, with Joe edging it.

Danyl is the best by a mile but the things a feckin popularity competition and NOT a singing competition. Based on this, he will almost certainly go this week. But will probably go on to have a better career than any of the others.

Betting has now changed for elimination

Olly 6/5

Danyl 6/4

Stacey 7/2

That's not bad odds for Stacey to be honest.

When Danyl sings i often have difficulty with his diction, sounds nasal to me. For me the best singer in the competition is Joe, and he proved it last night again. The only way Danyl or Olly can win is popularity, but on performance last night they are the bottom two, the latter way behind the others.

Nope.

As JM said, its a popularity contest more than a singing one, last nights result proves this.

Stupid Sexy Flanders

Had to laugh at Cowell describing "We Can Work it Out" as a Stevie Wonder song. I don't care if it was his version, do you think Cowell even knows it's a Beatles song? He knows hee haw about music, he only cares about what ends up in his sky rocket.

Money and commercialism is ruining music the same way as it's ruining football.

Nonsense. The charts have been ***** since since the mid 80s when I first started watching TOTP as a nipper. There's plenty of good music out there if you go looking for it. X-Factor might be ruining some facets of pop music but to say its ruining music as a whole is OTT.

If it was a pure singing competition then it would be full of opera singers.

Danyl was the 3rd best singers of the last four, he has a nasal and diction problem which inhibit clarity. Every TV competition where the public vote will have a degree of popularity over the subject ability.

If it was pure popularity Jedward would still be there. If it was pure singing Lucie would be there instead of Stacy.

All part of the entertainment factor.
