What about in a proper human game, whats the best hand anyone has had, or one that stands out

One hand I managed to not get involved in that I will always remember was at the Final table of a tournament at the Circus.

5 players left. I am 2nd smallest stack.

Preflop - the big three stacks end up all in.

Big stack shows AK offsuit

2nd stack shows AK offsuit.

3rd stack shows AA..

The Big stack won with a A high flush. It was crazy.. I ended up getting 2nd place that night for about ?550 and it was because 2 players went home here!

I have had a royal flush in a live game and it was exciting but the hand basically played itself!

had a royal flush once whilst playing online. won pretty much bobbins on the hand. same night i had AKQJ9 flush and managed to pick up a hefty slice.

takes two good hands in a game to win anything

Walter Payton

I've had a Royal Flush online, but it was in a heads up game so only one other person got to see! I've also been on the receiving end of it at the Circus, I even had to point out to the other guy (Frank) that he'd caught it on the river because he still thought he'd lost to the straight I had on the turn!

I remember seeing Stephen Hendry getting a royal flush on i think one of the earlier poker million comps on Sky. I don't really think he realised himself immediately.

Most interesting Royal Flush I saw as in a cash game at circus.

Two guys ended up all-in on the turn.

One had KQ

Board was KsQs8cKd

So he had the nut full house.

The other player had AsTs - needing the miracle Js on the river - the roar when the Js hit the table was superb.

Laughter and disbelief!!

Flopped a Royal flush online a couple of months ago and won the blinds.

2 live hands that stand out:

6,6 in hand in Big Blind - raised to 15, player 2 calls, I call

flop - Q,6,6 feel blinding flashes of OMFG!!!, but try to remain composed

I check

player 2 checks

player3 bets 50 - we both call

Turn - 10

I check, player 2 bets 75, player 3 gives up on his bluff and folds, I re-raise to 150, player 2 reraises All-in - pot about $700

He triumphantly flips Q,Q for the nut full house.

He left the table in a complete daze.

=============================================

Next casino visit.

On the button - 8,8 - Raised early to 12, 3 callers, I call

flop - 10s, 10c, 9s

checked all round - or I would have folded

Turn - 8s ------ BINGO! (or so I thought)

Checked all the way round to me - I bet 50

Folds all the way to the player directly to my left and he calls (I think flush draw or straight draw)

River - 8d - BADA-BOOM BADA-BING!!!!

He bets 50, I reraise All in, he calls and flips the nut full house with 10,9 that he had flopped.

Once again villain finds it hard not to burst into tears and walks off into the distance.

A bet of 20 bucks on the flop would have seen me make an easy fold.
