Cigaro
I've got my old PCs HDD plugged into my laptop via a case thing. I've gotten in to view the files on it, as I want to get some stuff off it. A lot of things its saying I cant access because I dont have permission to, yet I have set ownership etc to this laptop rather than the previous one. Its stuff like holiday photos, uni work etc, which I'd rather not lose/need. Anyone know how I can view/gain access to these?
Cigaro
Ok, seems I have to change ownership of each photo individually. Is there a quick way of doing it?
KinkyJambo
What operating system are you using? There is a way to select the security tab of the folder and change the ownership of all the "children" in it - but I can't remember how to do it - have you tried google?
