Dean Winchester
Got it free from the Uni. Superb piece of software and finally glad to be rid of the hell hole that was Vista! The 64 bit edition is simply superb

BRY
I use it for work - and I have to admit, it's pretty good. My wife has Vista on her home laptop, and it's atrocious!! However, Ubuntu 9.10 is the way to go... http://www.ubuntu.com

This may also sound stupid but I use Firefox and Ubunto looks like just another browser to me, I also thought about Google Chrome as most folk say it's slicker. I know someone who will be laughing and shaking their head at me for asking these questions but I bother him enough for computer advice
