So, say if an item was on ?20.13 and you bid ?20.14 and didn't win, you would still have to pay the ?20.14 even although you didn't get anything. Each bid is bought pre auction as a credit, they cost about ?1 to ?1.50 each. Each time a bid is made the timer resets and if another bid is made it resets again.
