The Mighty Thor

Wee man's doing the book at school as part of a WWII project.

We watched the movie on SKY a few weeks ago. I thought it was quite strong subject matter for a 10 year-old to get his head around but obviously not.

Good film though.

Great story but terrible film...

Clearly done on a small budget 1 house 1 car 5 nazi uniforms 100yds of barbwire 20planks of wood plus bunch of cheap UK actors...

The story deserves a good production OK not in the same league as "schindlers list" but it just seemed to be so cheap and nasty...

If you like reading then read the book and give the movie a miss.:qqb017:

A bit harsh. The book's terrific and the film is actually Ok even if not quite up to the standards of the book itself

Read the book in the summer as a quickie while I was on holiday.

Was a decent read, but as Jamie-HMFC says, the ending was pretty predictable.

Still enjoyed it though.

oh hibees are gay

If you can handle subtitles,,a film called -Life is beautiful- same war and a better class of film

,,,,,,,or Stalingrad(brutal but brilliant)

,or Rosenstrasse,3 of the best 2nd w.w movies imo and more realistic than American sugary keek like inglorious basterds etc,,

All 3 are subtitled ,but worth the trouble.
