wibble Posted November 16, 2009 Author Share Posted November 16, 2009 Wouldn't it be brilliant if the Government got behind this guy and got schoolkids involved in identifying communities who would benefit. Each school could "adopt" a village in a desperately poor country. With a few grand of donations from fund-raising at the school they could change the lives of hundreds of people. The kids would have the opportunity to realise how poorer people live and get some perspective on their own lives. They would also learn that science and technology are great fields to work in and they would learn that the greatest rewards in life are not about money.
