Tiberius Stinkfinger
I had a laptop that had the same problem so I launched it down the stairs and then bounced it on the patio in the back garden. It was never a problem again. Hope that helps.
PUG_HMFC
go to start then click on run then type in msconfig and hit enter(if vista just do a quick search for run) there will be a tab at the top that said startup just tick the things you dont want and click apply or you can get a program like tune up or your uninstaller to do it for you hope this helps:2thumbsup:

blondejamtart
Have you tried switching it off and on again? (Well, if our IT guys can get paid a fortune for sitting at the desks with their feet up dishing out that old chestnut every time some poor bugger phones them....) Sexton Hardcastle
How about just turning it on. I got a call the other day from a bird saying "oh my pc isnt working. It just says no signal" Right then, somethings not plugged in so i shoot round the corner. Heres the problem hen, its not turned on. "But i never turned it off". She had also just had her hair dyed blonde. She was quick to point this out.
