Stewart MacD Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 No, but if we'd had this website in the late 60s I wouldn't have had to spend so many Friday nights on the A1 hitching (ah,Scotch Corner in the snow), or slipping the Scottish Omnibuses (SMT) drivers a quid or so in the local at Victoria SW1. Even the BR chappies weren't averse to an addition to their miserly stipend on the sleepers to get an impoverished civil servant back for a Hearts game.
