shaun.lawson
Inter player hit by can - result void. Ah - but was he hit? Wouldn't be like an Italian player to feign injury, would it?! That Gladbach fan must've been about as popular as Steve Bartman I imagine. Fascinating fact: in 1978, Gladbach beat Borussia Dortmund in a Bundesliga game by the score of 12-0. The coach of Dortmund, who was immediately fired? Otto Rehhagel. Funny old world: you can probably file that alongside Guus Hiddink's hopeless stewardship of Holland at Euro 96. benny
Netzer was some player for a couple of years.Always wondered why he was not in the World Cup winning team of 74.He was superb in the Euro Championship of 72.He was brilliant against England at Wembley in an 3/1 win . Cut The Crap
Made way for Wolfgang Overath, who retains almost god-like status in Germany today.
