They did to be honest and we need barrow loads again tonight but this could be one of the greatest ever Scotland scores and achievements if the team win and then get into play off's. 'mon Scotland get right intae them!

Jambomo
Miracles can happen. Look at the results against France, look at Hearts beating Zagreb at home, all teams need the luck on the night - lets hope we have it today!
bn jambo
The dutch don't like it up them, well apart from in a few films i've seen Can see Scotland getting stuck in, getting alot of yellow's and if we are super lucky and win, we will probably be short of players if we make the play offs. Rattatooi
We need luck, but we also need to get the passion / aggression pumping through the veins. We'll never beat them at silky football so we have to do what we can do best, get right into their faces and don't give them time on the ball. The longer we can do that, the more chance we have C'mon Scotland - get right into them....

The dutch might be saying they are playing to win but to be honest if the game gets too hard for them they will lose interest. Mental strength has always been a fault of the Dutch which is why they have not won more major tournaments in their history.

Gabriel
This is key. The dutch might be saying they are playing to win but to be honest if the game gets too hard for them they will lose interest. Mental strength has always been a fault of the Dutch which is why they have not won more major tournaments in their history. There is a grain of truth in what you say, but they get to said tournaments on a regular basis because they are technically superior, and technique will overcome endeavour more often than not. The Dutch don't like being dictated to and like to set the pace of the game, so Scotland need to do everything in their power to upset the rhythm of the Dutch game and keep the tempo fast and error strewn. Missed passes, miss controls, and kicking the ball long are sure signs that the Dutch are feeling hurried and uncomfortable. If Scotland sit back and give away possession (as was the case in the first-half on Saturday), the Dutch will eventually score. Scotland need to push the game up the park, and when they do get the inevitable chance, take it.
