i8hibsh
Did that immense performance last night boost Hearts and Scotlands co-efficient or does it go down to the OVERALL result?

Guest JamboRobbo
points are awarded for each individual match. So yet, it helps both Scotland and Hearts.
Flimsy
Did that immense performance last night boost Hearts and Scotlands co-efficient or does it go down to the OVERALL result? 0.1666 onto Scotland's co-efficient, 0.033 onto Hearts since you ask. dkmmgcycbwc
Oddly UEFA don't take overall score into account. If you lose 10-0 and win 1-0 that's a 50-50 share of co-efficient points. Of course the winning team overall has the chance to go on and collect more points.
Statto
Next season, Hearts' coefficients will be a minimum of 7.425 (down from 11.575). This depends on how well Rangers and Celtic do in Europe, it will benifit Hearts greatly for the Old Firm winning matches in Europe, drawing and scraping through the qualification is no good to us, Heart of Midlothian needs Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic to win football matches to give us favourable draws in future UEFA competitions. Jambo in Yorkshire
I think you will find that this round is treated as a qualifying round and no points are awarded but we got 1.5 bonus points for reaching this round so we will have 1.5 plus the Scottish figure for this season These links give you all the details http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method4/tcoef2010.html http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/calc.html
Bert Le Clos
The co-efficient system is as poor as the world rankings system. Fulham, in Europe for the 1st time in I don't know how long were seeded.
