Bristol City v Crystal Palace

 

Bristol City to win, Bristol C drew 2-2 last week away to Preston who reached the playoffs last season and won 1-0 in the Carling Cup midweek v L1 side Brentford, in the recent meetings between the sides, Bristol City have won two and drawn one while playing at home against Palace.

Crystal Palace drew 1-1 at home on the first league match of the season at home to Plymouth, who last season were one place off the relegation zone. They also had Carling cup success against L2 new-boys Torquay.

Brentford v Brighton

 

Brentford to win, Brentford beat Carlisle 3-1 away last week but lost 1-0 in the Carling Cup against Championship side Bristol City. Brentford have won the last 3 games at home to Brighton dating back to 2002.

Brighton lost at home to Walsall on the first day of the season and got knocked out of the Carling Cup 3-0 by Championship side Swansea.

Millwall v Carlisle

 

Millwall to win, Millwall held Southampton to a 1-1 draw on the 1st game of the season and won 3-0 in the Cup against Bournemouth. Carlisle haven't scored a goal in the last three games at Millwall, who have won all of these three matches.

Carlise lost 3-1 at home to Brentford on the first game of the season, but managed a 1-0 win against Oldham in the Carling Cup.

Tranmere v Gillingham

 

Gillingham to win, Tranmere lost the first game of the season 2-0 at Yeovil who were only 2 points above the relegation zone last season, although Tranmere did beat L2 side Grimsby 4-0 in the Cup.

Gillingham have won their first 2 games this season, 5-0 at home to Swindon and 2-1 at home to Plymouth.

Aberdeen v Celtic

 

Celtic to win, Aberdeen have exited early from the Europa League, losing to Czech side Sigma Olomouc 8-1 on aggregate.

Celtic have qualified to the Play-off round of the Champions League by beating Dinamo Moscow 2-1 on aggregate. Celtic have won the last eight out of eleven games at Pittodrie.

I'm going to start small,there isn't much form information to go by as the season has only just started, I think the bet is worth ?5.
