Hopefully not happening here...
jambojim52
No problem with the board signing players as long as the manager has the right not to play him. If the board think they can afford to pay a player the manager doesn't want then they are at fault.

Jambof3tornado
Possibly happens at lots of clubs. The board perhaps think a player would be good for shirt sales or that a player will grow in value but the manager maybe thinks the player has the wrong attitude! It clearly isnt uniquely a vladish thing!

Nah, not at all. Look at Madrid, doubt we'd be complaining if we were getting players of any sort of calibre.

I love it when people compare us to Clubs of this size, what a load of nonsense!! At our level we are not signing people that will have any impact on shirt sales, who the hell is going to want a shirt with Whiteveen on the back? The guy is rubbish. With our financial restrictions we should not be siging anyone that the manager does not want. Sick of all the rubbish excuses for the way this club is run, and people say the Hibs fans are delusional!!

Regarding shirt sales I wasnt for one minute saying thats why we sign anyone, but we do clearly look for players who have lost there way a little and maybe about to turn them round and make a profit. Oh and how very dare you compare jambos to hibs fans.

Eldar Hadzimehmedovic
Football club chairmen sign players all the time. It's much more common than we think. The diffeence with Romanov a few years ago was always the quality. No chairman I can think of anywhere in the game signed so many players of average quality and actually demanded they play. That's what was bizarre about Hearts' situation.
