Shouldn't this have been a priority and not left until 3 months down the line or whenever it was? I'd have thought the likes of collecting 'evidence' would have been time critical but maybe somebody else can tell me different. I'm no expert, but i do watch a lot of CSI. Really difficult to get forensic evidence from a fire scene, although I'd imagine the police have already reported what they know to the Fiscal and might be awaiting a decision over whether there is enough evidence to arrest or charge anyone in connection with the fire.
