Don Juan
Alright folks - some advice needed - I can only access websites that I have bookmarked, when trying to access a website on google I just get another tab appearing with some advertising for spyware products. I was going to run a scan but when I click on my spyware remover icon it just comes up with an error message...arrrgh! Anyone had any problems like this before and if so how did you fix it? Cheers
this_is_my_story
Give this a bash, has worked wonders for me a couple of times. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php That's assuming that it doesn't redirect you if your browser has been hijacked! Good luck.

Dean Winchester
Download: http://www.lavasoft.com/single/trialpay.php and http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html Both are free. Update them, scan and delete whatever they find. Try this and if it doesn't work let us know Edit: If it's not letting you install them, download them to your desktop, restart your PC and tap F8 while it's booting up. A selection screen should come up, you want too hit Safe Mode with Networking. When the computer loads try installing them from that
Ben Dover
Have you mistakenly downloaded 'Personal Security' by any chance ? It's one that's going about just now and almost anything you try to run will give a popup saying "soandso .exe is infected .......run your Antivus" It also shows up as a bronze shield Icon on your Taskbar !
